Mikado Shijo

About Mikado Shijo

Mikado Shijo is Maki's twin brother, a cheerful genius who topped the national mock exams and studies at another elite school. Where Maki is all pride and sparks, Mikado is relaxed, kind and quietly formidable, a Shirogane-level rival entering the story from the rival family. His easy strength reminds everyone that the world beyond Shuchiin's council room is very big.

Appearance

Mikado is a teenager with light hair and an easy, friendly smile, usually in his own elite school's uniform. He looks like Miyuki's calmer reflection, a top student without the eye bags.

Personality

Mikado is warm, confident and quietly formidable. He treats competition as fun, people as friends until proven otherwise, and his family's rivalry with the Shinomiya as background noise rather than a feud.

Background & Story

Mikado studies at another elite school and made his name by placing first in the national mock examinations, the one score that puts him beside Miyuki Shirogane in pure academics. As a Shijo, he represents the world beyond Shuchiin's council room: bigger stages, rival families and a generation of talent the main cast will have to measure itself against.

Key Relationships

• Maki Shijo: His twin sister, whose pride and romantic disasters he observes with brotherly calm.
• Miyuki Shirogane: His academic rival at the top of the national mock exams.
