CECyberpunk: Edgerunners 2ONA · 2026Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 returns to Night City with a brand-new crew chasing money, fame and survival, and this time the city itself, in 2078, is the only returning character that matters. The standalone ten-episode story weaves together four lives: Weak Kingsley, a washed-up edgerunner once called 'the King', now living without the chrome that made him a legend; D, a Snake Nation netrunner hunting the killer who wiped out his clan; Talia Yang, a corpo-born fighter hardened inside the Maelstrom gang; and Roman Carax, a young filmmaker who still believes a camera can capture the truth. An Arasaka data chip carrying an AI called Capri drags all four into the same deadly job. Like the first Edgerunners, it is a story about what the city takes from the people who try to beat it, family, obsession and legacy. Studio TRIGGER returns with director Kai Ikarashi, a reimagined look, Tsuneo Imahori's score and songs written for the series. All ten episodes arrived on Netflix on 20 October 2026.

CBCowboy BebopTV · 1998In 2071, bounty hunters Spike Spiegel and Jet Black travel the solar system in their ship, the Bebop. Cowboy Bebop is a 26-episode series from Sunrise, directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, and it mixes space western, film noir and jazz into something entirely its own. Humanity has left a ruined Earth behind for colonies on Mars, Venus and the moons of Jupiter, and work is scarce between the planets. Spike and Jet chase bounties to keep the ship fuelled and themselves fed, and along the way their crew grows: the con artist Faye Valentine, the child hacker Edward and a genetically engineered corgi named Ein. Each episode, called a 'session', is a self-contained job, but a darker story runs underneath: Spike's past in the Red Dragon crime syndicate, and his unfinished business with his old partner Vicious and the woman they both loved. First aired in Japan in 1998–99, Bebop became one of the most respected anime ever made, famous for Yoko Kanno's jazz score and an ending people still talk about.

DSDr. StoneTV · 2019A mysterious light turns every human on Earth to stone. Thousands of years later, science-obsessed Senku Ishigami breaks free and sets an impossible goal: revive everyone and rebuild civilisation from scratch, one invention at a time. Dr. Stone turns real science into adventure (soap, glass, electricity and antibiotics become boss battles) with a huge heart and a tonne of energy. Ten billion percent exhilarating. Animated by TMS Entertainment from the manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, the series ran from 2019 to 2026 across four seasons and 94 episodes, adapting the complete manga story. Senku's method is always the same and always thrilling: identify the problem, remember the science, and build the impossible with whatever the stone world provides, stone tools, iron, gunpowder, telephones, ships, and eventually a rocket aimed at the mystery itself. Around him gathers the Kingdom of Science: Taiju's endless stamina, Chrome's reinvented discoveries, Gen's silver tongue, Kohaku's strength and the whole village of Ishigami. It is a rare adventure that makes knowledge itself the superpower, celebrating curiosity, teamwork and the 3,700 years of human progress Senku is determined to win back.
