Tower of God is an action-fantasy anime adapted from S.I.U.'s Korean webtoon, produced first by Telecom Animation Film and then The Answer Studio. It follows Bam, an Irregular climbing a wish-granting Tower. Two seasons (39 episodes, 2020 and 2024) have aired.
About Tower of God
Bam has spent his whole life in the dark beneath the Tower, with only his friend Rachel for company. When she leaves to climb it, he follows, into a brutal system of tests set by floor guardians and rival climbers, all chasing the promise that the top grants any wish. Tower of God, adapted from the hit Korean webtoon, is a mysterious, strategy-filled climb where alliances shift on every floor. Its world is enormous: each floor is the size of a continent, ruled through tests, noble families and the immortal King Jahad's empire, and Bam, an Irregular who opened the door himself, breaks rules the Tower's people treat as laws of nature. Season 1 (2020) made it one of the first big webtoon adaptations; Season 2 (2024) jumps years ahead to a masked Bam serving the criminal group FUG, and the team-based tests are as much about trust and betrayal as raw power.
Tower of God is a TV anime from 2020, first released in Spring 2020. It belongs to the Action and Fantasy and Mystery genres and is listed as a completed series. The summary above is written by the AnimeYug team in our own words.

Story & Plot
Twenty-Fifth Bam has lived his whole life in a dark cave beneath the Tower, where Rachel taught him to read, talk and hope. When Rachel is chosen to climb the Tower, where reaching the top grants any wish. Bam forces the door open himself and follows her in. As an Irregular, he is an intruder the Tower never invited, yet the guardian Headon sets him a deadly first test and sends him upward with the legendary Black March blade.
On the test floors Bam gathers the team that defines him: the scheming Khun, the spear-hurling Rak, Princess Endorsi and a dozen rivals who become friends. The tests reward strategy and loyalty as much as strength, and punish trust in the worst way. Years later, Season 2 finds a long-haired stranger named Viole climbing as a weapon of the crime syndicate FUG, while a penniless prince named Ja Wangnan fails the 20th floor again and again, until their paths cross on the way to the Workshop Battle.
