About Fire Force
In a world where people can suddenly combust into living infernos, special fire brigades of pyrokinetic soldiers fight the flames and search for the cause. Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic who can ignite his feet, joins Company 8 hoping to become a hero, and to learn the truth about the fire that took his family. From the creator of Soul Eater, Fire Force is stylish, loud and full of blazing battles. Animated by david production, the series ran for 73 episodes across three seasons (2019–2026), adapting Atsushi Ohkubo's complete manga. Its world is rich and strange: a solar-era Tokyo ruled by the Holy Sol Temple, where the Fire Force's eight companies mix firefighters, soldiers and priests, and where the pyrokinetic generations can conjure, control or weaponise flame. Shinra, nicknamed the Devil for the grin fear puts on his face, fights alongside the knight-obsessed Arthur, the unlucky Tamaki, sniper-engineer Maki and the rest of Company 8, the brigade formed to watch the other companies. Behind the fires stands the Evangelist and her White-Clad cult, hunting children with the Adolla Burst. Few shonen anime look or sound like this: soul, funk and cathedral bells over some of the wildest fire animation ever drawn.
Fire Force is a TV anime from 2019, first released in Summer 2019. It belongs to the Action and Supernatural genres and is listed as a completed series. The summary above is written by the AnimeYug team in our own words.

Story & Plot
Tokyo, Solar Era Year 198. Humanity lives in fear of spontaneous human combustion: without warning, people burst into flame and become Infernals, mindless fire demons that must be destroyed. The Special Fire Force (pyrokinetic soldiers, scientists and priests in firefighter gear) answers every call. Shinra Kusakabe is a third-generation pyrokinetic who fights with flames ignited from his feet. Twelve years ago his home burned, his mother became an Infernal and his baby brother vanished; blamed and feared ever since, Shinra joins Company 8 determined to be a hero and to find the truth.
Company 8 is the brigade that investigates the other seven, and its captain, the unpowered but unshakeable Akitaru Obi, has built a family Shinra never expected: the delusional knight Arthur, the accident-prone Tamaki, Iris, Maki and Lieutenant Hinawa. What they uncover changes everything: the fires are being made, by a cult serving a being called the Evangelist, hunting children who carry the Adolla Burst, the pure flame Shinra possesses. And Shinra's brother Sho is alive, raised as the cult's commander. Saving the world means saving him first.

Why Watch Fire Force
- Fire animated like nothing else: soul, funk and cathedral bells over every battle.
- A superhero fire service: eight rival companies of pyrokinetic soldiers, priests and scientists.
- Shinra and Sho: a hero fighting to save the brother the villains raised.
- A slow-burn mystery (the Infernals, Adolla and the Evangelist) that pays off completely.
- From Soul Eater's creator, and secretly that world's origin story.
Who Is It For?
An action series aimed at teens and up: expect intense battles, deaths by fire at the heart of the premise, dark cult themes and some fanservice comedy around Tamaki. The tone balances this with warmth and humour, but the combustion deaths and apocalyptic final season make it best for older teens and adults.
