From Witch Hat Atelier
Tetia is a supporting character in Witch Hat Atelier, the sunshine of Qifrey's atelier, an apprentice who loves praise, hates gloom and dreams of magic that makes people happy. About Tetia
Tetia is the sunshine of Qifrey's atelier, an apprentice who loves praise, hates gloom and believes every problem can be cheered away. Her open heart makes her Coco's first real friend in the witch world. Tetia dreams of magic that makes people happy, and her simple wish quietly challenges the strict rules the witch society lives by.
Appearance
Tetia is a young girl with a bright, open face and an ever-present smile, her hair worn in a lively style that matches her energy. In the blue apprentice robes of Qifrey's atelier she is usually in motion, leaning in, bouncing on her toes, or throwing her arms wide when she is thanked for something.
Personality
Tetia is cheerful, warm and completely praise-driven: being thanked is her favourite thing in the world, and she works hard to earn it. She dislikes gloomy moods and tries to cheer them away on instinct. Her dream is simple and radical at once, magic that exists to make people happy, and her open heart quietly questions a witch society built on secrecy and fear.
Background & Story
Tetia came to Qifrey's atelier as an apprentice like the others, a born witch learning drawn magic under his teaching. Where Agott meets Coco with suspicion, Tetia greets the newcomer with instant friendship, showing her the atelier and its wonders. Her wish to be thanked, and to make magic that brings happiness, makes her the emotional warmth of the apprentice group, and a small, persistent challenge to the idea that magic must always be hidden away.
Powers & Abilities
- Drawn seal magic: Tetia casts spells by drawing seals in ink like every witch, and hopes to shape her magic toward spells that delight and help people.
Key Relationships
- Coco: Her friend and fellow apprentice, Tetia is the first person at the atelier to welcome Coco without reservation.
- Qifrey: Her teacher, whose gentle praise is exactly the fuel Tetia runs on.
- Agott Arklaum: A fellow apprentice whose prickliness Tetia cheerfully refuses to take personally.
- Richeh: A fellow apprentice; Tetia's brightness is the counterweight to Richeh's quiet stubbornness.
