About Agott Arklaum
Agott is a proud apprentice from the famous Arklaum family of witches, sent to Qifrey's atelier in disgrace after a scandal she refuses to discuss. Perfectionist and prickly, she sees Coco, an outsider who skipped every rule Agott lived by, as an insult. Beneath the rivalry, Agott's hunger to prove herself makes her one of Coco's most important mirrors.
Appearance
Agott is a young girl with dark, neatly kept hair and a sharp, serious expression that rarely softens in public. She wears the blue apprentice robes of Qifrey's atelier with the pointed cap of a born witch, and carries herself with the stiff pride of her famous family name in every line of her posture.
Personality
Agott is a perfectionist: diligent, exacting and terrified of failure. Raised on the Arklaum name, she measures her worth in flawless results and takes any mistake as disgrace. That pride makes her prickly and quick to lash out, especially at Coco, but it is armour, not cruelty, underneath is a girl desperate to prove she still deserves her family's legacy.
Background & Story
Agott was born into the Arklaum family, one of the great houses that helped found the laws keeping magic secret. She was Qifrey's first apprentice, arriving at his atelier after a scandal at the Great Hall that she refuses to talk about. She has lived by every rule the witch world set her, so Coco's arrival, an outsider handed the apprenticeship Agott bled for, strikes at everything she believes about fairness. Becoming Coco's roommate forces the rivalry up close, and measuring herself against the newcomer becomes the push Agott needs, however unwillingly.
Powers & Abilities
- Drawn seal magic: A rigorously trained apprentice, Agott draws precise, textbook seals and favours powerful, showy spells that display perfect technique.

- Qifrey: Her teacher; she was his first apprentice and is determined not to shame the place he gave her.
- Tetia: A fellow apprentice whose easy cheerfulness is everything Agott is not, and who refuses to be pushed away.
- Richeh: A fellow apprentice she is paired with for tests, where their opposite styles collide and combine.
