Appearance
Yomo is a tall, broad, imposing man with long light hair, a heavy brow and a permanently grave expression. He dresses simply and darkly, moves quietly for his size, and is usually found at the edges of Anteiku scenes, carrying supplies, collecting what needs collecting, saying nothing. When his kagune appears it carries a lightning-like charge, and his fighting style, fast and economical, explains the nickname other ghouls gave him: the Raven.
Personality
Yomo is a man of very few words and complete reliability. His temper, once famous, has been worked down to embers by grief and discipline; what remains is patience, dry humour so dry it is easy to miss, and loyalty that does not announce itself. He expresses love through maintenance, training, feeding, guarding, remembering birthdays badly, and he is one of the few characters whose respect Kaneki has to earn in full, which makes earning it matter.

Yomo grew up in the violent 4th ward, a hot-headed young ghoul who lost his sister, Touka and Ayato's mother, to the CCG's world and carried the grief as rage. Yoshimura took him in, and Anteiku's discipline slowly turned the avenger into a pillar: the man who collects the bodies of suicide victims so other ghouls need not hunt, runs the café's hardest errands, and watches over his late sister's children from a careful distance. He is Kaneki's sparring teacher in the ghoul arts and the 20th ward's quiet insurance policy.
