Frieza is the galactic emperor whose cruelty destroyed Planet Vegeta and who fell to Goku on Namek, becoming the Saiyans' nightmare. In this era his loyal soldiers gather the Dragon Balls and revive him, and Frieza does something new: he trains. The result is Golden Frieza, a transformation built on four months of effort and a lifetime of hatred for the Saiyan who humiliated him.

Appearance

Frieza is a small, sleek being whose final form is smooth white with purple sections on his head, chest and limbs, red eyes and a long tail, polite, almost delicate, until the smile turns. His earlier forms grow progressively larger and more monstrous. As Golden Frieza his whole body turns metallic gold with purple accents, a transformation designed, with an emperor's vanity, to mock the Super Saiyan legend that humiliated him.

Personality

Frieza is cruelty with perfect manners: soft-spoken, courteous and genocidal, an emperor who treats planets as inventory and people as vermin while thanking them politely. His Super-era evolution is chilling precisely because it is small, denied his empire and his revenge, Frieza discovers discipline: he trains for the first time in his life, and later spends a decade in a time chamber to return as Black Frieza, beyond even the gods' students. He remains evil to the bone, but the universe's chaos keeps making him useful: the tyrant who once destroyed the Saiyans fights to save their universe, wearing his own survival like a crown.

Background & Story

Frieza inherited a galactic empire built on buying, stripping and selling planets, ruling through terror and the Saiyans he eventually exterminated, all but a handful, fearing their legend. On Namek he met that legend: Goku's Super Saiyan transformation humiliated him, and Trunks' sword finished him. Decades later his loyalists gathered the Dragon Balls and revived him in pieces; Frieza, informed that Goku had since beaten even Buu, chose the unthinkable for a natural prodigy, four months of training, and returned as Golden Frieza to take his revenge. Defeated by his own stamina, destroyed by Vegeta and Goku, and revived again as the price of the Tournament of Power, the emperor now wanders the universe rebuilding his power, patient, for the first time, and worse for it.
