Felix Argyle

About Felix Argyle

Felix, called Ferris, is Crusch's knight and Lugunica's finest water healer, a cat-eared young man who delights in teasing Subaru mercilessly. Beneath the playful cruelty sits absolute devotion to Crusch, who gave his life meaning when his own family rejected him. His healing is the reason several characters survive their worst loops' consequences.

Appearance

Felix is a slender young man with floppy brown hair, cat ears and a tail, demi-human traits he leans into with a ribbon, a maid-like outfit off duty and the Royal Guard uniform on it. His smile is sweet, his voice playful, and his eyes miss nothing. The cuteness is a chosen weapon: Felix enjoys watching people underestimate the finest healer in the kingdom standing in front of them.

Personality

Felix is playful, teasing and casually cruel to people he dislikes, Subaru receives the full performance. Underneath is absolute, almost obsessive devotion to Crusch, who took him in when his own family locked him away for his demi-human features and gave his life meaning. Felix's loyalty is the whole of his moral compass: what serves Crusch is right. His healing genius, which can pull people back from the edge of death, exists in his mind for exactly one person's benefit first.

Background & Story

Felix was born to a noble house that hid him away for his cat-like demi-human traits, until Crusch Karsten found him and brought him into her household, the act that defines his life. Trained as her knight, he became the kingdom's greatest water magic healer, serving in the Royal Guard while privately belonging entirely to House Karsten. In the White Whale campaign and everything after, Felix stands at Crusch's side as healer, knight and the keeper of her private self.

• Master water healing: Felix is Lugunica's finest healer, able to repair catastrophic injuries and even restart a stopped heart with water magic.
• Water magic combat: His control of water lets him manipulate the water in a person's body, a healer's knowledge with frightening offensive uses.
• Knight training: Despite his build and manner, Felix is a trained knight of the Royal Guard serving as Crusch's sword.
