Mashle: Magic and Muscles is a comedy action anime by A-1 Pictures about Mash Burnedead, a boy born without magic in a world ruled by it, who fights wizards with pure muscle. Seasons 1 (2023) and 2 (2024) ran for 12 episodes each and stream on Crunchyroll. Season 3, The Tri-Magicathlon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc, streams on Crunchyroll from January 2027.
About Mashle: Magic and Muscles
In the world of Mashle, magic is everything. Your face is marked with lines that show your gift, your status depends on your power, and anyone born without magic is treated as a threat to be removed. Mash Burnedead is exactly that problem: a good natured boy with no magic at all, raised in secret deep in the forest by his adoptive father, spending his days training his body and eating cream puffs. When the authorities finally find him, he is given a stark choice: enrol at Easton Magic Academy and rise to Divine Visionary, the most honoured title in the land, or spend his life being hunted. So Mash goes to magic school armed with nothing but ridiculous physical strength, a deadpan expression and fists that treat spells as a minor inconvenience. A-1 Pictures' adaptation of Hajime Komoto's manga mixes shonen battles with straight faced comedy, and after two seasons in 2023 and 2024, a third season arrives in January 2027.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles is a TV anime from 2023, first released in Spring 2023. It belongs to the Action and Comedy and Fantasy genres. The summary above is written by the AnimeYug team in our own words.

Story & Plot
Mash's quiet forest life ends the day the magic police come knocking. His only way to protect his adoptive father is to enter Easton Magic Academy, where the finest young wizards in the kingdom compete, and to aim for the title of Divine Visionary, a position so respected that even a boy with no magic could not be touched.
Inside the academy, Mash survives exams, duels and the Divine Visionary selection tests the only way he knows how: by out-punching every problem. Season 1 covers his enrolment and first friendships, Season 2 takes on the Divine Visionary Candidate Exam, and Season 3 moves into the final exam itself, the Tri-Magicathlon, where the strongest students in the school fight for the title and Mash's secret gets harder to hide with every round.
