Toji Fushiguro, born into the Zenin clan with no cursed energy at all, was cast aside by his own family and became the Sorcerer Killer, an assassin for hire. A heavenly restriction gave him superhuman senses and strength instead, plus an arsenal of cursed tools. He is Megumi's father, and the man who once pushed a young Gojo to his limit.

Appearance

Toji is a tall, powerfully built man with shaggy black hair, sharp green eyes and a small scar at the corner of his mouth. He dresses for work, not show: a dark, tight shirt and trousers that let him move, often with a sword or tool in hand. The strangest part of his look is his partner, a grotesque, worm-like cursed spirit that drapes around his shoulders like a scarf, its body serving as his portable armoury. Toji carries himself like a gambler between races: relaxed, a little smirking, always aware of exits and odds. Nothing about him reads as a sorcerer, which is precisely why sorcerers underestimate him.

Toji is a cynical, money-driven pragmatist who treats sorcerer society with open contempt. The Zenin clan spat on him for being born without cursed energy, and he returned the feeling in full, building a life as the man elites hire to kill the people they cannot handle. He gambles away his earnings, forgets his own son's name, and claims to care about nothing but the next job. Yet the story keeps finding cracks in that armour: a wife who made him want to be better, a son he quietly arranged a future for, and a pride that refuses, even at the end, to be measured by the clan that threw him away.

Born Toji Zenin, he was the clan's shame: a child with zero cursed energy in a family that valued nothing else. His heavenly restriction compensated with a body of extreme strength, speed and sharpened senses, but the clan still treated him as worthless, and he left, taking the name Fushiguro from his marriage. He became the Sorcerer Killer, an assassin who used tools, planning and sorcerers' own blind spots, a man with no cursed energy is invisible to most sorcerers' senses, to kill targets far above his supposed station. His most famous job targeted the Star Plasma Vessel and her escorts, two Jujutsu High students named Gojo and Geto, in a fight that changed all three of their lives.
