Lilia Greyrat

About Lilia Greyrat

Lilia is the Greyrat family's maid, a former palace guard whose strict manner hides fierce loyalty to the household that took her in. She raises Aisha to serve Rudeus and holds the family together through scandal and disaster. Practical and unsentimental, she is often the only adult in the room when the Greyrats fall apart.

Appearance

Lilia is a composed woman with dark red hair worn neatly, glasses, and a classic maid's uniform worn like armour. Her posture is perfect, her expression reserved, and her movements economical, a former royal guard's discipline translated into household service. In a family of dramatic personalities, Lilia is the still point, which is exactly why everyone leans on her without noticing.

Personality

Lilia is strict, practical and unsentimental, and completely devoted. Trained as a palace guard in Asura, she takes service as a sacred duty: the Greyrat household took her in at her lowest, and she repays it with her whole life's work. She raises her daughter Aisha to serve Rudeus, manages the family's scandals and disasters with the same calm, and is often, as the story puts it in practice, the only adult in the room when the Greyrats fall apart.

Background & Story

Lilia served as a guard and maid in the Asura royal palace, where an injury ended her guard career and an encounter with the young adventurer Paul left its mark on her life. Dismissed from palace service, she was hired as the Greyrat family's maid in Buena Village, becoming Zenith's right hand and the household's spine. After the Teleport Incident, Lilia and her daughter Aisha are found and brought home through Paul's search network, and Lilia resumes her place holding the family together.
