About Fubi Kase
Fubi Kase is a police officer who has known Kimihiko since his travelling days with Siesta. Sharp, professional and hard to fool, she works official cases by the book while quietly helping Kimihiko with the ones no police report could ever explain. She also trained Charlotte, and her calm judgement makes her one of the few adults Kimihiko can truly rely on when SPES starts to move again.
Appearance
Fubi is a professional woman in her working years with a neat, practical appearance, dark hair kept tidy, plain suits and a detective's bearing that reads 'police' at a glance. Nothing about her suggests she spends half her professional life covering for a teenage detective's supernatural caseload, which is exactly why she is good at it.
Personality
Fubi is sharp, calm and hard to fool. She believes in procedure and evidence, and her patience with Kimihiko's world, artificial humans, secret organisations, a dead detective's heart, is a deliberate professional choice, not naivety. She is one of the few adults Kimihiko trusts, and her mentorship of Charlotte shows the same steady, demanding fairness she brings to a crime scene.
Background & Story
Fubi Kase is a police officer who encountered Kimihiko during his three years travelling with Siesta, when impossible cases kept landing on her desk with a teenage assistant in the middle of them. Rather than write him off, she became his quiet point of contact with the official world. She also took the young agent Charlotte Arisaka Anderson under her wing and trained her. When SPES begins moving again, Fubi stands where she always has: between the official investigation and the detective's heirs.
