About Yugo Tennouji
Yugo Tennouji, 'Mr. Braun' to the lab, is the gruff landlord who runs the CRT shop below and rents Okabe the lab space. A huge, intimidating man raising his daughter Nae alone, he grumbles about rent while quietly looking out for the kids upstairs. His past hides one of the story's darkest reveals, tying the Tennouji family to SERN, the Rounders and Suzuha's mission.
Appearance
Yugo is a large, muscular man with a shaved head and a stern face, usually in work clothes at his CRT shop. Everything about him looks intimidating except how he acts around his young daughter.
Personality
Yugo is blunt, frugal and short-tempered about rent day, and a devoted single father with a soft spot for the lab's oddballs. He complains constantly and helps reliably, the Akihabara version of kindness.
Background & Story
Yugo runs the CRT repair shop below the Future Gadget Laboratory and rents Okabe the room above it, employing Suzuha part-time. He raises his daughter Nae alone and treats the lab members as an extension of his responsibilities, feeding, scolding and sheltering them as needed. His long history in Akihabara goes deeper than the young people upstairs realise. (Premise only.)
