About Yor Forger
By day, Yor is a gentle, slightly scatterbrained office worker at Berlint City Hall. By night, she is the Thorn Princess, one of the most feared assassins in Ostania. She joins the Forger family as a pretend wife and mother to protect her cover, and slowly starts to treasure the home she was only supposed to fake. Impossibly strong, hopeless at cooking, and kind to her core, Yor is the family's sweetest and deadliest member.
Appearance
Yor is a 27-year-old woman, 170 cm tall, with long black hair and red eyes, usually dressed modestly for her city hall job. As the Thorn Princess she wears a black dress with a rose motif and carries her signature needle-like weapons. Her strength is completely invisible in her posture, she looks like the least dangerous person in any room, which her targets learn last.
Personality
Yor is kind, earnest and socially awkward, with a scatterbrained streak and a famously hopeless hand in the kitchen. She worries constantly that she is failing as a wife and mother, and tries harder because of it. As an assassin she is calm, professional and terrifyingly capable, the same woman, with the same desire to protect the people who depend on her, pointed in a different direction.
Background & Story
Yor Briar grew up in eastern Ostania and lost her parents young; she became an assassin for the Garden while still a child herself, to provide for her little brother Yuri. By 27, working as a Berlint City Hall clerk, she faced suspicion for still being single, and her assassin work required a normal life as cover. She and Loid Forger, each needing a pretend partner, agreed to a fake marriage that became a registered one. Yor stepped into the role of Anya's mother as camouflage; staying for real is the decision she keeps quietly making, day after day.
