Luck Voltia

About Luck Voltia

Luck is a cheerful Black Bulls battle maniac whose lightning magic makes him one of the fastest fighters in the Clover Kingdom. Raised on praise for his talent, he smiles through every fight and constantly begs stronger opponents to spar with him. Beneath the grin is a loyal squad member who learned, slowly, that winning together matters more than winning alone.

Appearance

Luck is a slim young man of average height with messy blond hair, bright blue eyes and a permanent, slightly unhinged grin. He wears his Black Bulls robe over a teal shirt and shorts, built for movement, and he is rarely still enough to see clearly anyway, in battle he is a blur of blue-white lightning, with boots and gloves of crackling electricity forming around his limbs. His cheerful expression does not change when he is fighting for his life, which opponents tend to find unsettling.

Personality

Luck loves fighting the way other people love festivals, purely, constantly and with no interest in tomorrow. He provokes strong opponents, laughs while bleeding, and treats mortal danger as the best entertainment available. The joy is real but not empty: raised by a mother whose love he struggled to win, Luck learned that winning was how he earned smiles, and his battle mania carries that old hunger inside it. In the Black Bulls he found people who valued him without a victory attached, and his growth shows in a new instinct, fighting beside his friends, as part of a team, rather than for the thrill alone.

Background & Story

Luck was born a commoner with an unusual gift: he could sense mana with a precision most nobles never reach. His mother's pride in him was real but conditional in a way a child feels deeply, and her death left him chasing the feeling of making her smile. He beat a noble in the Magic Knight entrance exam with a grin and joined the Black Bulls, where his first dungeon mission alongside Asta and Noelle became his first real teamwork. Since then he has fought in every crisis the squad has faced, and when the elf reincarnation crisis put a soul in his body, his friends fought through an army to bring the real Luck home.

Powers & Abilities

• Lightning Magic: Luck creates and becomes lightning, blinding speed, electric kicks and bolts, with reflexes that let him fight on instinct alone.
• Thunder God's Boots and Gloves: His signature armour: lightning shaped into boots and gloves that multiply his speed and striking power.
• Mana sensing: One of the finest mana senses in the kingdom, Luck reads enemy positions, traps and weaknesses in the mana around him better than almost anyone.

Key Relationships

• Magna Swing: His senior in the squad and his favourite sparring partner, the two bicker like brothers and fight like a unit.
• Asta: A fellow new recruit from their first mission onward; Luck respects Asta's madness because it matches his own.
