From Noragami
Kazuma is a main character of Noragami, Bishamon's most trusted shinki, her guide and one of the rare blessed regalia. Calm and brilliant, he coordinates her whole household and carries a debt to Yato he hides from his own god. He is voiced by Jun Fukuyama in Japanese and Eric Vale in English.
About Kazuma
Kazuma is Bishamon's most trusted shinki, her guide, strategist and one of the rare blessed regalia. Calm, brilliant and utterly devoted, he coordinates Bishamon's whole family of spirits and would bend even his god's wishes to keep her safe. Kazuma also carries a debt to Yato that complicates his loyalty, the one secret he keeps from Bishamon herself.
Appearance
Kazuma is a young-looking man with neat brown hair and glasses, usually in a dark suit. As a shinki he becomes a small cherry-blossom earring on Bishamon's ear, a form that lets him see the battlefield whole and direct her arsenal. His composure rarely cracks, and when it does, it is always about Bishamon's safety.
Personality
Kazuma is loyal past the point of obedience: he will bend his god's wishes, hide her errors and dirty his own hands to keep Bishamon alive and honoured. He is the household's strategist and conscience, mentoring younger shinki like Yukine even across enemy lines, because his gratitude to Yato for an old mercy outweighs faction.
Background & Story
Kazuma has served Bishamon since he was a young spirit, rising to become her exemplar, a blessed regalia, a shinki whose name and form evolved through absolute devotion, marked by the 'na' suffix in his vessel name. He alone of her household remembers the full truth of the tragedy that destroyed her first family, including Yato's part in it, and he has kept that secret from Bishamon herself to protect her. Running her vast household in the present, Kazuma watches its hidden sickness grow and does the unthinkable for help: he goes to Yato.
