New Anime in November 2026: Every Premiere, Movie and Weekly Episode
The short answer: the month at a glance
November is a busy month, and it is spread across every platform. Bass X Machina opens things on Netflix on 3 November with all 6 episodes at once. Devils' Crest follows on Prime Video worldwide on 6 November. Fool Night then closes the new series out on Netflix on 26 November, with its full series landing at once. Two films play in theatres too: Dive in Wonderland screens on 16 November in US and Canada theatres, and Witch on the Holy Night opens on 20 November in Japan theatres. Six weekly series keep going all month on top of that. This guide pulls the lot together in one place, and if you only care about Netflix, our New Anime on Netflix in November 2026 guide goes deeper on that slate alone.
Brand new series this month
Bass X Machina (3 November, Netflix)
A steampunk Western from LeSean Thomas, animated by Studio Mir, this one reimagines the real lawman Bass Reeves in a frontier full of machines and outlaws. Brian Tyree Henry voices Bass, and all 6 episodes arrive at once, so you can finish it in a weekend. One honest note on what it is: it is an American animated series made in an anime-inspired style, and it is billed as a limited series. Our Bass X Machina page has the full details, and our premiere report covers the launch.
Devils' Crest (6 November, Prime Video)
This is the month's big premiere for a lot of people. Devils' Crest is a new anime from Reki Kawahara, the creator of Sword Art Online, and it is based on his Demons' Crest light novels. Production I.G handles the animation. The story follows sixth grader Yuma Ashihara and his classmates, who get sealed inside the full-dive game Actual Magic when it fuses with reality, and they have to find a way through a world that is no longer just a game. The opening theme is "Shinka" by Ado. It streams worldwide on Prime Video. Our Devils' Crest page tracks what we know so far.
Fool Night (26 November, Netflix)
The late month drop, and a proper binge release. Fool Night lands on Netflix worldwide on 26 November with the full series at once, and that worldwide release includes India. It is a collaboration between Sunrise and Shaft. The setting is a future where thick clouds block the sun and oxygen is scarce, and desperate people agree to be turned into oxygen-producing plants in exchange for money. It is a bleak idea, handled by two studios who rarely work together, which is a big part of why so many fans are watching for it.
Anime films in November
Dive in Wonderland (16 November, US and Canada theatres)
This one is a single night only, so do not leave it late. Dive in Wonderland screens on 16 November at 7 p.m. local time as part of Crunchyroll Anime Nights, and tickets are on sale now. It is a P.A. Works film directed by Toshiya Shinohara, with a runtime of 1 hour 37 minutes and a PG rating. No India date has been announced. Our report on the screening has the details.
Witch on the Holy Night (20 November, Japan theatres)
ufotable brings TYPE-MOON's visual novel to the screen at last. Witch on the Holy Night is set in the late 1980s, where apprentice mage Aoko Aozaki trains under the witch Alice Kuonji. It opens in Japan theatres only for now on 20 November, and no India date has been announced.
