About Yoo Jinho
Yoo Jinho is a cheerful D-rank hunter from a wealthy family who joins Jinwoo on a raid that turns into a deadly trap. Jinwoo saves his life, and Jinho repays him with total loyalty, becoming his sworn younger brother and closest partner. He handles money, gear and guild business with endless enthusiasm, happily wearing expensive armour that is far stronger than he is.
Appearance
Jinho is a baby-faced young man with neat light-brown hair and earnest, expressive eyes that make him look younger than he is. His signature look is a running joke: full sets of gleaming, expensive high-grade armour and swords, equipment far beyond his rank that his family's money bought, worn with total sincerity into dungeons where he is usually the weakest person present. Beside the tall, dark figure Jinwoo becomes, Jinho's bright armour and brighter smile make the pair instantly recognisable: the monarch and his loyal, over-equipped little brother. He also handles the business side in sharp suits, equally earnest in both uniforms.
Personality
Jinho is loyalty as a personality. Raised in wealth but hungry to prove himself a real hunter, he entered a raid that turned into a massacre, and the E-rank nobody, Jinwoo, saved his life and refused his money for it. Jinho's response was total: he pledged himself as Jinwoo's sworn brother, funds his raids, manages his affairs and would walk into any gate Jinwoo asked, shaking. He is not stupid and not merely comic relief, he is a capable administrator, a decent man, and brave in the specific way that matters: he stays. In a story about a man becoming less human, Jinho is one of the anchors that keeps Jinwoo connected to ordinary warmth.
Background & Story
Jinho is the second son of Yoo Myunghan, chairman of Yoojin Construction, a family rich enough to buy a guild's worth of equipment and stubborn enough that Jinho chose hunting over the company path. On a C-rank raid led by the hunter Hwang Dongsuk, the party was betrayed and sealed inside a boss room as bait. The weakest hunter present, Sung Jinwoo, killed the boss and then the traitors, and spared Jinho, the one member who had stood with him. Jinho repaid that night with everything he had: he financed Jinwoo's solo raids, faked the records to hide his growth, and became vice guild master of the guild the two built together, Jinwoo's right hand in the human world.
Powers & Abilities
- D-rank hunter: Jinho's awakened power is modest, a D-rank tanker, but his courage and loyalty far exceed his rank.
- Top-tier equipment: His family's wealth equips him with armour and weapons of a grade far above his own power, keeping him alive in gates he has no business entering.
Key Relationships
- Sung Jinwoo: His sworn elder brother, Jinho owes Jinwoo his life and repays it with absolute loyalty, money and friendship.
- Sung Jinah: Jinwoo's sister, whom Jinho treats with the same devoted respect as the rest of Jinwoo's family.
- Yoo Myunghan: His father, chairman of Yoojin Construction. Winning even a word of approval from him drives much of what Jinho does.
