Kana is a striking teenager with long dark hair, sharp eyes and a delinquent's style, loose or modified clothes, an attitude in her posture, and none of the neatness of Shinichi's school circle. Background & Story
Kana was an ordinary rebellious student at a neighbouring school when she began noticing something no one else could: a faint, strange 'signal' that certain people gave off, the presence of parasites. She does not know what the signals are, only that hers feels like a private frequency. Then she senses a different one, weaker, warmer, human, coming from Shinichi Izumi, and becomes convinced he is the person her gift has been pointing her toward. She seeks him out in a city where killers wear human faces, armed with nothing but her sensitivity and her certainty, while Shinichi, who knows exactly what her gift means and what it will attract, tries desperately to push her away for her own safety.
