Terasaka is the biggest student in Class 3-E, tall, broad and muscular, with short dark hair and a thuggish scowl that matches his early behaviour. He looks like a delinquent because, at first, he acts like one. As the year changes him, the same imposing build becomes reassuring: Terasaka is the classmate who stands at the front when things get dangerous, and his grin turns from a sneer into something almost friendly.

Terasaka coasted through school on size and intimidation, and in Class 3-E he initially looked down on his classmates while chasing the reward for killing Koro-sensei.
