About Pram Schnaizer
Pram Schnaizer is a small, cheerful swordsman whose speed with a rapier is far beyond his years. An orphan taken in and trained by a famous sword family, he joined Desir's party at Hebrion Academy and became its fastest blade. In Desir's first life Pram died in the Shadow Labyrinth; this time, Desir is determined that his young friend survives to grow into the master swordsman he was always meant to become.
Appearance
Pram is easy to spot in any crowd: he is the small one. Short and slight with soft, youthful features and bright, eager eyes, he looks younger than his classmates and gets mistaken for a lost younger sibling more often than he would like. His weapon is a slim rapier, light enough for his build, and when he moves with it the cuteness drops away fast. He is quick in a way that makes bigger students look like they are fighting underwater.
Personality
Pram is sunshine. He is friendly to everyone, quick to laugh, and treats being in Desir's party like the best thing that ever happened to him. That cheerfulness is not naivety, exactly. He grew up an orphan who had to earn his place in somebody else's famous family, so he knows what being unwanted feels like, and he has decided to be kind about it. In a fight he turns focused and brave without losing the grin. Desir, who remembers burying this kid in another life, finds Pram's trust in him both wonderful and hard to carry.
Background & Story
Pram was orphaned young and taken in by a renowned family of swordsmen, who trained him in their style. He arrived at Hebrion Academy carrying a heavy weapon that did not suit him, a leftover of trying to fight like the family that raised him. Desir recognises him at once. In the future he remembers, Pram fought beside him and died in the Shadow Labyrinth before ever reaching his full strength. This time Desir steps in early, points him back to the light rapier his speed was made for, and recruits him into the party forming in the Beta class. Pram, who has no idea any of this happened, just knows someone finally looked at him and saw a swordsman worth building a team around.
Powers & Abilities
- Rapier Mastery: Pram's gift is speed. With a light rapier in hand he strikes faster than most students can follow, threading attacks through guards before they close.
- Footwork and Reflexes: His small build is an advantage the way he uses it: quick steps, quicker reactions, and a habit of being somewhere else by the time a counter lands.
Key Relationships
- Desir Herrman: The upperclassman figure Pram admires most. Desir fixed his weapon, believed in him and gave him a party, so Pram repays him with total loyalty.
- Romantica Eru: His party mate, who treats him like a little brother: teasing, feeding and covering him in fights, usually all in the same minute.
- Azest Kingscrown: The academy's strongest student and a fellow sword user, so she is the mountain every young blade at Hebrion measures itself against. Pram included.
Quick Answers
What weapon does Pram Schnaizer use?
Pram fights with a rapier. He first arrives using a heavier blade that slows him down, and switching to the light rapier his speed suits is one of Desir's first corrections.
Why does Desir protect Pram so much?
In Desir's first life, Pram fought beside him and died in the Shadow Labyrinth. Desir remembers it. Pram doesn't, which makes Desir's protectiveness hard for the boy to understand.
Who voices Pram Schnaizer?
Pram is voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara in Japanese and by Macy Anne Johnson in the English dub.
