Story & Plot
Fuuta Okeya is 14 years old, and he has a gift he never asked for: he can see ghosts. He also has a mark on his cheek, which he keeps hidden under a bandage.
His quiet life ends when Kouko Ishigami transfers into his school. Kouko notices the mark under Fuuta's bandage straight away, and what she tells him makes no sense at first. The two of them, she says, are tied together across many past lives. They have met before, again and again, in life after life.
But Kouko has not come back into Fuuta's life for a reunion. She carries a grudge against him that was born in a past life and never died, passed down through every reincarnation since. To understand why she hates him, Fuuta has to face the lives his soul has already lived, and what it did in them.

Who Is It For?
Spirit Circle is one for viewers who like supernatural drama with a personal hook. This is not a monster of the week ghost story. The ghosts matter less than the two people at the centre, a boy and a girl bound together by lives neither of them fully remembers, and a grudge only one of them understands.
