About Otaku Vampire's Love Bite
Otaku Vampire's Love Bite is a supernatural romantic comedy manga by Julietta Suzuki, the creator of Kamisama Kiss, and it is now becoming a television anime. ShoPro Entertainment announced the adaptation on 4 November 2026, and the news came with two first treats for fans: a teaser promotional video and a teaser visual. That is the full extent of what has been confirmed so far, and this page will grow as the production shares more. The manga behind the anime has been running in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine since November 2022. Ten volumes are out, and the 11th volume is due in November 2026, so the series is active and still building its audience. Readers outside Japan can follow it in English, because VIZ Media publishes the manga in English. Plenty is still under wraps. No animation studio, cast, staff beyond original creator Julietta Suzuki, streaming platform or premiere date has been announced yet. Rather than guess at any of that, this page states it plainly: the date is to be announced, and the next update from the production is the one worth waiting for.
Otaku Vampire's Love Bite is a TV anime from 2026. It belongs to the Romance and Supernatural and Comedy genres. The summary above is written by the AnimeYug team in our own words.

Story & Plot
Start with the title, because it tells you the whole pitch. This is a story built around a vampire heroine who is also an otaku, and the comedy comes from that mix: a supernatural creature of the night whose strongest passion is her favourite anime character, caught up in a romance played for laughs as much as for heart. It is a romantic comedy first, with the vampire side feeding the jokes.
The teaser visual leans right into that joke. It shows the vampire heroine smiling inside a coffin filled with merchandise of her favourite character, with a bag of blood in hand. One image sums up the series: gothic on the outside, full fandom on the inside.
The manga has had time to find its rhythm before this adaptation. Julietta Suzuki launched it in Hana to Yume in November 2022, and it has reached 10 volumes, with the 11th due in November 2026. Suzuki's name carries weight with romance fans too, as the creator of Kamisama Kiss, which is a big part of why a short announcement like this one drew attention straight away.
What happens on screen, and when, is still to come. The announcement confirmed the format, a TV anime, and nothing beyond that: no studio, no cast voices, no broadcaster or platform, and no date. When those details land, they will change this page from an announcement tracker into a full viewing guide.
