Story & Plot
Rose lives quietly by a lake, where she is known as the Good Witch of the Lake. She makes potions, keeps to herself, and has carried a quiet crush for four years on Harij, a royal knight.
Then Harij comes to her cottage with a request. He wants her to brew a love potion. The hard part is simple: the potion is not for her. He has someone else in mind, and Rose's four year crush ends, or seems to, in a single conversation.
Rose does not send him away. Instead she sends him hunting for impossible ingredients, a delaying tactic to keep him coming back a little longer. Harij takes the errands seriously. He starts turning up every day, and he brings food. A heartbroken witch, a dutiful knight, and a potion neither of them is being honest about. That is where the romance starts.
