Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2: Seedrun Arc Trailer, New Cast and Episode 6 Date
The short answer first: the Seedrun Arc in Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 begins with episode 6 on 11 November 2026. The official website set the arc up on Wednesday 4 November 2026 with a third promotional video, a third key visual and five new cast members, and the season keeps streaming on HIDIVE as it airs in Japan.
The short answer: episode 6 starts the arc on 11 November
This is the point where Season 2 turns into its second half. The Seedrun Arc covers episodes 6 to 12, so it is not a one episode detour. It carries the season from 11 November through to the finale, and everything announced this week points at that stretch of the story.
A third trailer and a third key visual for the arc
The headline piece is the third promotional video, posted by the official website on 4 November 2026 as a preview of the Seedrun Arc. A third key visual arrived with it, putting Fran and Teacher alongside the faces this arc brings in. Mid-season trailers like this usually land quietly, but this one comes with a full cast reveal attached, which makes it a proper marker for where the season goes next.
Five new cast members join the arc
- Satsuki Kokubu as Fult
- Yurie Kozakai as Satya
- Hazuki Ogino as Miriam
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Sellimea
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Valuza
Five new voices at once is a lot for a mid-season announcement, and it tells you the arc brings in a fresh group of characters around Fran and Teacher rather than a single guest role. They join a cast led by Shinichiro Miki as Teacher and Ai Kakuma as Fran.
Where the season stands: dates and HIDIVE
Season 2 has been running for a few weeks already. Early streaming began on 30 September 2026 on ABEMA and HIDIVE, ahead of the Japanese TV broadcast, which began on 7 October 2026 on Tokyo MX and other channels. HIDIVE streams the season as it airs in Japan, so episode 6 lands there as the Seedrun Arc opens on 11 November.
If you are catching up, the first half of the season is already waiting on HIDIVE, and there is still time to get through it before the arc starts. Our Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 page has the full schedule, cast and story details in one place.
