Ranma 1/2 Season 3 Is Now Airing: New Episodes Every Saturday on Netflix
Just add water: the chaos is back. Ranma 1/2 Season 3 premiered on Saturday, 3 October 2026, in Nippon TV's Saturday-night anime slot in Japan, and Netflix is streaming the season worldwide with new episodes every week, shortly after the Japanese broadcast.
The remake comes from studio MAPPA, the same team behind the first two seasons of the new version, and it continues Rumiko Takahashi's classic martial-arts comedy: Ranma Saotome, cursed to turn into a girl with cold water and back with hot, his reluctant fiancée Akane Tendo, and the endless queue of rivals, suitors and very confused parents around the Tendo dojo.
The season also has a new opening theme, "Wo Ai Ni" by Wednesday Campanella, continuing the remake's habit of pairing its retro heart with a modern sound.
Because Netflix adds each episode weekly, fans outside Japan can follow the season almost in step with the Japanese audience, no waiting for a full-season drop. If you are new to the remake, start with Season 1: the story begins at the beginning, with Ranma and his father arriving at the Tendo dojo, and the first two seasons are also on Netflix.
