Mashle Season 3 on Crunchyroll: January 2027 Release, Arc and What to Watch First
The short answer first: Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 starts streaming on Crunchyroll in January 2027. The rollout covers most of the world, with Japan and China the only countries left out of the announcement.
The short answer: when and where Season 3 streams
Crunchyroll will carry the new season from January 2027, worldwide except Japan and China. Southeast Asia is part of the plan too, and the announcement names Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.
No exact day in January has been given yet. That's the honest picture right now. It's a month to circle on the calendar rather than a date, and we'll update this page once the day is confirmed.
The interest is clearly there. Collider's hype ranking on 2 November put Season 3 among the most anticipated upcoming action anime, which says a lot for a comedy series built around a boy who solves magic problems with his fists.
What Season 3 adapts: the Tri-Magicathlon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc
The season's full official title is Mashle: Magic and Muscles The Tri-Magicathlon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc. So yes, the arc name really is that long, and it tells you where the story is headed.
Mash is still chasing the Divine Visionary title, the one thing that could keep him safe in a world that wants him gone for having no magic. The final exam arc raises the stakes around that goal. Friends matter here. So do rivals, and Mash has collected plenty of both.
The anime is based on Hajime Komoto's manga, and Season 3 picks up the story after the events of the first two seasons.
Staff and studio confirmed so far
- Studio: A-1 Pictures
- Director: Tomonari Tanaka
- Series composition: Yosuke Kuroda
- Character design: Chiaki Kozumi
- Music: Masaru Yokoyama
- Original manga: Hajime Komoto
A-1 Pictures is back behind the animation, which should keep the look and timing consistent with what came before. The deadpan jokes land because of that timing, after all. Gags aside, the fights need it too.
Where to watch Mashle Seasons 1 and 2 before January
You've got time to catch up, and it's worth doing. Seasons 1 and 2 are both streaming on Crunchyroll, and Season 3 follows on directly from them, so starting at the beginning makes sense if you're new.
Short on time? The first season sets up Mash, his friends and the whole cream puff obsession, and the second season pushes him much closer to the Divine Visionary race. Our Mashle page has the full series details in one place if you want the story, cast and watch order before you dive in.
